petersant
Hi all, I am thinking of purchasing a battery from a local (london) store to use with my 16mm Arriflex BL. Just after some advise from people out there as to whether or not I am choosing the correct battery and how I go about connecting it to a 4 pin XLR. \ Firstly is the 7Ah L/Acid Bat 12V battery listed here correct for the Arri? http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?Module...88&doy=26m6 Many thanks Pete
Erik Vilhelm
I had the same problem until recently. Now I have obtained a sealed lead-acid system with 12V & 14Ah and it's very convenient. My guess is that you could use any 12V lead-acid battery. Regarding the XLR, I have a 5-pin with plus (red) connected to pin 4 and minus (black) connected to pin 1. Premium Member Tim Terner Posted June 28, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted June 28, 2008 After you buy the charger and XLR cable for that one at Maplins, you might be better off to consider this http://duallcamera.com/store/index_BatteriesChargers.shtml
