I actually saw an Ad up here in Phila looking for PAs to go down to the gulf for Gustav, but alas, they weren't offering to pay anything and I had the typical boyfriend duties to perform before my girlfriend offs to Rome for 3+ months. Saul Rodgar Posted September 1, 2008 Share Posted September 1, 2008 It's funny that anyone who knows Arri's history would chuckle at the fact that they snubbed factory ready Super 16 cameras until the SR3 came out, by which time Aaton had had several S16 camera generations built. In the video they say something silly like "In 1993, Arri introduced the SR3 which made S16 acquisition easier". AND the 416 borrowed many LTR/XTR design features, like the magazine shape and the way they are loaded - the wrong sides if you look at an SR mag, smaller size and ergonomics, etc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
