Joe Taylor
Has anybody seen this one? Some of the most gorgeous cinematography and in-camera effects that I've--- EVER! If I had not read what I've found about it, i'd suppose most of the eye-candy was CGI. this just came out on DVD and I highly recommend it. Premium Member Adam Frisch FSF Posted September 9, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted September 9, 2008 Great film that looks amazing, although the imagery skirts dangerously close to looking like one of those huge bank commercials at times. Edgar Dubrovskiy
If I had not read what I've found about it, i'd suppose most of the eye-candy was CGI. Not a single scene is CGI. Locations shot 23 countries over 4 years. Brilliant film.

Danny Haritan
now if we could only have this with a good story Totally agree. Thought the film looked fantastic but the story just threw me off a lot.
Steve McBride
Yeah, this was all done in camera (with the exception to the priest's face in the desert) and it is just amazing. I don't see why people don't like the story, I love it. If you watch it again and look at it as a romance between Roy and Alexandria (I know, gross, but just do it) it becomes a lot more meaningful.
