Premium Member Chad Stockfleth Posted September 30, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted September 30, 2008 Have any of you EX3 users had trouble with the rolling shutter? Also, what sort of glass options are you using, if any, besides the sony/fujinon's??
Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted September 30, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted September 30, 2008 The only time I've seen it on my EX1 was with a train pulling into a station (shooting out of train onto vertical steel beams) but it was also motion blurred @180 degree shutter 24p, so it didn't personally bother me. On super erratic movement it can pop up (cloverfield type look) but under "normal" circumstances, i haven't noticed/been bothered by it yet on the EX1. The EX3, as far as I know, as essentially the same guts as the 1.
Andre Labous
Just shot a fashion runway with EX1. Shot at 40 and 60fps and had rolling shutter on each frame where a still flash went off.
