Thomas Worth
Hi. Is the BNC / BNCR flange the same as the Konvas / Kinor OCT-19? Could I use a BNC mount lens on a Konvas? I know the distance marks on the lens would not be correct due to the difference in flange focal distance, but would the lens actually stay on the camera? Premium Member Adam Frisch FSF Posted March 15, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted March 15, 2005 If I recall coreectly, the OCT-19 mount should have a 61mm flange..

Konvas-2M lens mount have diameter 68 mm and flange focal distance 61 mm. BNCR mount have diameter 2.680 in =68 mm and flange focal distance 2.420 in=61.468 mm The difference a flange focal distance at 0.468 mm too big, because, this is distance must have precision +/- 0.01mm From other side this is lens mounts have difference design of mounting.
