It was mostly shot on EXR 200T (5293) in Super-35, one of the best Super-35 blow-ups and home video transfers I've seen, actually -- a very clean-looking movie. Arri 535B and Arri 435, Zeiss lenses. Digital Domain pushed them to shoot in Super-35 instead of anamorphic, so it was a good thing the DP decided to use 200 ASA film for the whole project (except for greenscren work, which used EXR 100T 5248.)

This is covered in the May 1997 issue of "American Cinematographer".

Agreed.

I heard "the Grinch" was shot on that too (another very colorful film).

Seems like that EXT 200T stock is an awesome choice for great, accurate color reproduction - I'll keep that in mind for future projects.

It definately added to the film's extravagant look.
