16mm lens 35mm adapter

Just wondering if anybody has had any experience putting a 16mm lens on a 35mm adapter and what issues I can expect. I would imagine a larger depth of field, and a smaller field of view being the main issues. I'm doing a school project with an HVX and Movietube LT with PL mount and wondering if I could use the school's 10:1 zeiss zoom we have for our sr2 (also planing on using our 14mm prime). I'm doing a camera test on Monday but just wondering what issues I should expect.

John said it. if you try to zoom in past the vignetting, there's a strong likelihood that your camera's macro mode won't focus that close any more. I'm pretty sure the HVX close focus distance is poorer and poorer as you zoom in more.

From my own experience you'll be ok around 25mm or so (gotten from my Illumina S16mm primes on a letus). On the longer end 30< I'd say you'll be "Ok" but why not just see if you can throw it on there really fast and get first hand experience?
