Clamp with removable spigot

Hi,

I appreciate that there's a number of variations on this, but does anyone know where I could find some of these, preferably exactly these if I can:

The two I have are ex-BBC, and not from a repeatable source. There's no makers' name, but they're deliciously over-engineered so I'm assuming a US origin...

Looks like there is a mark : "S.I.V.L.". Is that right ?

I've seen something quite similar, but nothing exactly like that. What do you want to do with it?

Wouldn't something like this work?

Riku, do you think this could handle a 100 kg weight ? (as I think I can read the C clamp Phil is showing does).

Didn't spot that. Nope, it can handle "only" 49,5 kg.

Thanks, folks, I've had some interesting information come up about these clamps, but I still can't find the exact type. They're almost certainly out of production.

Yes, those lighter pressed-steel ones would probably do, but the ones I have are prettier. Sorry. Can't help it.

The engraving reads "S.W.L." for safe working load.
