5D2 Firmware version 2.0.3 finally came out

I'm just started testing it right now.

 

Seems like the prev jitters quite much in "24" and "25" modes.

I'm also feeling the rolling shutter problem is maybe a little bit worse with 24&25. Not sure yet.

 

Not sure if there's just a little bit of ghosting also. It's minor anyway if there's any.

This morning Canon released version 2.0.4 of their 5d Mark2 firmware.

The previous version was taken off the web due to a audio bug in the custom modes C1-C3.

The 2.0.4 seems to be all okay. The 24/25 framerate should work as this probably never was a big issue to add. Usability makes the difference now. The on-screen audio bar isn't visible when shooting. So you can adjust it once and then hope that no clipping occurs or the cable or plug works alright. The histogram covers a quarter of the frame- way too large to be visible during filming. Only two things and i'll probably come up with more. T-r-a-m-m-e-l-l----!!!
