Guest Patrick Nuse
I don't know if anyone still shoots with this camera. But I just discovered that it can shoot in frame mode. Might be cool when exporting to web destined clips, or DVD? Thought someone might find it interesting or usefull. The switch is located on the PS board inside behind the main side cover. It is a small slide switch labeled "Frame/Field" at the top of the board. You have to pull the card out to see it. Brian Drysdale
Curious, have you tested this actually does create progressive? I suspect there wouldn't have been a market for progressive when this camera was being used, since everything was interlace at the time.
Guest Patrick Nuse
It's hard to tell now that I'm looking at it. In the view finder it looks very different, very blurry during pans. when I capture It does still look like there may be a difference between fields so I'm not sure what it does now. Maybe I can put up a couple of clips on both settings and see if someone can tell me what this switch actually does. Curious, have you tested this actually does create progressive?
