Viktor (sorry my english not so good...:) This best Super 8 cine camera between russian amateur S8 cine cameras. Fast zoom lens Karat 8-40 mm F 1.2 distance of focusing 1,2m - infinity. To have macro mode with focusing distance 0.8 -12 m. The film stediness - standard for amateur S8 cine cameras. If you worry about stediness, you need choose a 16 mm PRO camera with registration pin at claw mechanism, like Kinor-16 SX-2M. P.S Могу ответить на русском . To check condition of electronic, can have oxidize contacts at switches. If you will have questions, can ask me, i have a few Quarz-XL at spare parts sets. Regards, Viktor I worry, you can have problem to find of any second hand cine camera shop. The better way to find private advertisemen at regional buy-sell newspapers. Or ask of guys from pro-photo camera shops. I'm from Ukraine.

From what I know, the Svema (Cвема is Cyrillic) plant closed down in the early 2000s, and no films are available anymore.
