Delorme Jean-Marie
if art isn't democracy do you intend to become "dictator of photography"? ;) verry good interview .

Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted February 10, 2005 Author Premium Member Share Posted February 10, 2005 thought i would like to know more about you, teaching yourself! how did you manage the whole technical side? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I read a lot. Talk to experts. Try things out for myself. Often you find yourself on each project trying one trick you haven't done before (or several if you like living dangerously) so the more you shoot, the more you learn. Tenolian Bell
In reading the "art is not a democracy." I remember reading awhile ago, someone pushing the merits of digital projection. Basically they said a movie in the theater is not doing well, digital projection will allow the Director the ability to edit and tweek the film until they figure out a combination that works for the audience. Essentially represented in box office gross. When I read that I nearly fell out of my chair and thought "that day will be the death of filmmaking."
