JD Hartman
Asking this on behalf of a friend. Where would you take (or send) Ektachrome E3 4x5 sheets for development in the Bowling Green, Ohio area?
Jock Blakley
Process E-3 was superseded by Process E-4 in 1974 and in turn again by Process E-6 in 1976. While it is chemically relatively-straightforward (as old reversal processes go), I don't believe any lab will be able to recover images from the sheets in colour. Film Rescue International, I'm told, will process it in B&W. Their website isn't very clear on the point, nor on whether they can accept sheet films, so an enquiry in advance would be advised. K Borowski
No offense, this really this really isn't the ideal place to ask your question - on a Cinematography site. There are photography websites out there where you'd get a much better answer to your question. . . If your friend is trying to get color images from early '70s film developed, it might only be salvageable in B&W high-con. developer.
Anton Papich
Go to www.apug.org and ask that question. I'm pretty sure someone will know answer to your question.
