Andrzej Ford
Hi, for my most recent project, i was hoping to recreate live blue/green screen as seen in Science of Sleep or weather reports. http://images.pingmag.jp/images/title/gondry.jpg is a screen example of what i'd like to achieve, and i have previously worked with green screen, so i feel comfortable with the technical aspects of that. but i'm not quite sure how or where to start with live green screening. the equipment i will most likely be using is a macbook pro, canon 7d and a generic projector/monitor. thanks in advance! Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted February 17, 2011 Premium Member Share Posted February 17, 2011 As far as I know you cannot key live without dedicated hardware such as a video mixer with keying ability. FCP is an editing program, not a live program.

Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted February 17, 2011 Premium Member Share Posted February 17, 2011 The ones I know are pretty expensive, but you can probably find them for rental, something along these lines: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/489776-REG/Barco_R9860917_R9860917_Encore_Video_Processor.html Others who do more broadcast work may chime in as it's been awhile since I've had to do live keying.
