texture to light, seeing the beam

Recommended Posts

What materials can you use to see beams of light in a subtle way? Such as to mimic dust in the air? I'm always amazed when I see it, but it's usually the result of some natural occurrence. How does one manufacture it?

Thanks,

Chris

Remember that when you use Smokers, you want to add a lot to the room and let it naturally disperse (or help it a little with a flag). Once it disperses evenly it will no longer look like it is "flowing" and that is when you will get nice solid beams of light.

A hazer does this automagically so if you can get your hands on one they are the better choice. They take a little time, so don't be disappointed with the flow rate ;)

...then again hazers cant do some things you can do with smoke

same goes for dry ice etc...

The right tool for the job and in this case, its the hazer
