which of these lenses is the fastest?

...fastest and best all around out of these zoom lenses?

 

..sorry i dont know much about lenses.

The fastest lens there is the 9.5 to 57mm Angenieux Zoom T1.9, but it is not one of the longer ratio lenses on that list, it is a 6:1.

Not on your list, but my favorite zoom to rent when shooting S-16 is the Angienieux 7-81mm. You also can't wrong with either of the Canon zooms: 8-64mm or 11.5 -165mm

For future reference the speed of the lens is determined

By the lens most opened F-stop--in other words lowest F-stop

 

For a fast lens usually it's around

F1.4 -- F2.0 -- F2.8 area--

And I usually a F2.8 is a not-so-fast lens :)

So you should be looking below that number

 

So next time you looking for a fast lens look to see the lowest numbered F-stop

Simplest answer I can provide...

The anamorphic zoom I'm using only opens to f/4.5...

I always get stuck with some T3 or so for zooms. I'd love a T2.8, it is pretty fast.
