honzav
Hi, I am brand new to shooting film and would like to buy my first super 8 camera. After seaching ebay and many other places, there seem to be hundreds of models to choose from. I have a 'wish list' of things I wish this camera had: 1. Lightweight ( <4lbs ) and with a removable or foldable handle so I can possibly use it on a Steadicam JR. 2. Manual exposure / apperture. 3. Intervalometer for timelapse shooting 4. Wide lens... preferably 6mm +/- Does such a camera exist? Any feedback on what you may recommend is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Honza
Chris Burke
I recommend any Nizo, especially the 6080.

Giles Perkins
Nizo 801 or Nizo Pro, German engineering, look darn good when not is use (always a bonus in my book!) Giles www.onsuper8.org Super 8 is forty in 2005, what are you doing to celebrate?
Matt Pacini
Most of the top end Super 8 cameras will do most of that, but the only one with a lens that wide, is the Bauer 715XL-S. It's a great camera, with a 6mm-90mm Angenieux lens. Trhe Canon 1014XL-S has a 6.5-65mm lens, so that's the second widest. Most S8 cameras start at 8mm, & go up to 70mm or 80mm. The only quiet Super 8 camera on earth is the Nizo 6080 (& perhaps the 6056 or 4080). Matt Pacini
