The camera were using is a Panasonic AF-100 Instead of looking through the actual thing, one way to do it is using a fish-eye lens to accomplish the effect of the pov. We once did it by just holding an old fish-eye adapter for video cameras in front of the lens, and it worked pretty well.
Premium Member Adrian Sierkowski Posted October 6, 2011 Premium Member Share Posted October 6, 2011 The fish-eye is a good idea, another way of doing it is building a "peep hole" larger and filming through it-- same kind of idea as "shooting through a keyhole" where you cut the shape out and film through it. Ari Davidson
If you're really broke like I was in film school, the bottom of a beer bottle works well too ;)
