George Duncan Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 I want to use a Nikon Zoom Lens on my D7000 body in the Video Mode, and I want to connect up a DC "powered" zoom control, so it can be zoomed via the tripod handle. I know there are some DSLR generic zoom controls out there, but I'm looking for one that's powered. If any of you have such a set up, or know where I can buy one, I'd be very thankful for the info. Ari Davidson Posted January 8, 2012 Share Posted January 8, 2012 The only thing that immediately comes to mind is to add a delrin gear to the zoom ring, use a Haden (or equivalent) motor via rods, and a microforce (or similar controller).
