Premium Member Adam Frisch FSF Posted May 17, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted May 17, 2005 There are lots, of course. But one of the best - and simplest - is Gordon Willis cinematography in Klute. These are from the last scenes in the movie and as you can see, not really the way one usually lit actresses in 1971...
Mike Williamson
Beautiful stills, Adam, I love it when he flips the camera around later in the scene as well. "Klute" is probably my favorite Willis movie, the exposures in it are so perfect.
Guest Roman
Nicole Kidman and Ben Gazzara shot by Peter Grant in "Dogville" - beautiful scene when the sun comes from the (first time in a long time open) window and reveals that he's hiding his blindness... Gianni di Venanzo's shot of Claudia Cardinale in "8 1/2" - she's repeating "You don't know what love is" for couple of times, talking to Marcelo Mastroianni.
