David Cunningham
http://www.foto-r3.com/en/argenti-pan-x-100-byn-negativo-super-8-15-metros.html Anyone in the states able to process this. Closest I got was a 'maybe' from Cinelab.
Mark Dunn
It's just repackaged Agfa brand b/w neg made by Adox. Standard b/w neg process, nothing special. Edited January 11, 2013 by Mark Dunn
David Cunningham
I've heard d-96 or even d-76 will work just fine. But, does anyone actually have a machine that will work with 8mm film AND B&W negative developer? I can't imagine it's in high demand even if their 16mm/35mm B&W negative developing machine can be sized down to 8mm. So, I bet I'd have to wait a while, unless the machine can do all formats at the same time and as long as the film doesn't have anything on it (like rem-jet or some chemical) to mess up their chemicals. But, no one has actually said "YES, send it in".
Nicholas Kovats
David, Contact Niagara Custom Labs here in Toronto as they will pretty almost process anything, i.e. http://www.niagaracustomlab.com/. LIFT in Toronto now sells this stock locally here in Toronto also, i.e. http://lift.ca/equipment/store/adox-pan-x-super-8mm-film-50-asa-100d80t
David Cunningham
ARGENTI PAN-X 100 Is negative B&W... not the same the reversal. Or, am I wrong?
Mark Dunn
You're right, that is a different stock and a different process. Not very different, but needing extra baths and so a different setup.
