Chris Burke
I was blown away Sunday night as video balagan staged an outdoor event where film maker Rob Todd presented his Echo Systems along with live music. The filmmaker himself was ,"mixing" here and there by dodging part or all of a projector during the presentation. He had three projectors running simultaneously, overlapping each other. Regular 16mm, color print and black and white reversal. It looked incredibly sharp. I would say 15 to 20 foot image projected on a side of a building in the Financial district of Boston. A real treat to see the format used in such a way. the film maker was created something ephemeral. I can't stress how sharp it looked from about 80 feet away. Perhaps it was larger than what I said before, but sharp as can be. Edited September 24, 2013 by Chris Burke
Prashantt Rai
This sounds awesome. would like to see a second generation iphone video of it somewhere. however, the link 'echo systems' seems to be broken - 404 not found.
