BMW powder keg

F Bulgarelli

Recommended Posts

Hello there,

Does anyone remember where to access any info on the cinematography of BMW's Powder Keg?

I recalled seeing a detailed article about the techniques Richardon used on it but can't remember where.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Handheld, crash zooms again and again :D

you used to be able to buy the complete series 1 and 2 DVD from bmwfilms.com - there are extras on the dvd (not that much about cinematography)

Powder key is very similar to Man on Fire - even though Cameron didn't shoot powder keg. Check out "21 grams" etc by the same director - of powder keg

thanks

I remember hearing that ICG magazine had some articles on various films from the BMW series, though I haven't read them myself. If you search the archives, you may find a post by Wendell Greene that has some specifics on which issues of ICG to look for. I'd be interested in anything you find out beyond that, so please post an update if you discover any interesting stuff!
