Premium Member David Auner aac Posted April 24, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted April 24, 2014 Hi folks, does anybody have any an idea what size filter thread the old sweet Angie has? Seems to be around 49mm but I am not quite sure... I desperately need some NDs for that.. ;) Thanks! Cheers, Dave
Guest Glenn Brady
An old Angeniéux factory brochure I've got indicates 45.0mm diameter with thirty-six threads per inch.
Jean-Louis Seguin
That's weird that they would mix metric and US units. 36 tpi comes very close to 0.7mm.
Premium Member David Auner aac Posted May 20, 2014 Author Premium Member Share Posted May 20, 2014 Glenn, could you post a scan of the broschure? I'd love to read that!
Guest Glenn Brady
Hi, Dave. I'll scan the center pages and send them to you directly. I haven't a clue how to embed documents or images at this forum. Glenn

The main table of the brochure shows only the diameter of the front thread of the lenses, using symbols to direct the reader to footnotes giving the various pitches - two of them metric and two fractional. Premium Member David Auner aac Posted May 21, 2014 Author Premium Member Share Posted May 21, 2014 Thanks to Glenn we know have a wealth of info on old Angies! He scanned this very informative table for me. Thanks again, mate! http://www.auner.net/misc/DOF/Angenieux_Lens_Table_Oct_72.jpg So it really seems to be 45mm and 36 tpi.
