K3 questions

Hey! I recovered my K3 since I sold one several years ago. This one came in perfect conditions but I don't remember: when am I suppossed to stop cranking to get the 25-30 sec. average @24fps.

And what battery is suppossed to substitute the original mercury one?

I have not come across a specific number of turns when winding, I guess everyone is different, but stop winding when you get resistance, then time how long it takes to run out and you will know how far to wind it in future. Concerning the light meter battery,

But most people use a hand held light meter anyway, apparently the K-3 is not reliable light meter wise.

Thanks! Apparentky it works on mine but I'll do some tests.

The crank indeed stops after my wrist hurts but i t runs an average of 25-30 sec.
