Eugene Lehnert
I was interested in getting a MOS 35mm camera, but I wanted to be able to shoot stars timelapse at night. I currently can do this with my bolex because I can keep the shutter open but is there a 35mm camera for around $5k that can do this?
Dan Salzmann
A Bell & Howell Eyemo with an NCS intervalometer should do the trick.

Eugene Lehnert
How do you load that camera? I was looking on film emporium's website and they sell 100' rolls for $ 0.10/ft. Is this on a daylight spool? Do 35mm daylight spools exist? Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the tip! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Kodak 100-foot 35mm spool is designated S-83, and is available for many of the Kodak camera films: http://www.kodak.com/US/en/motion/support/...esP.shtml#cores http://www.kodak.com/US/plugins/acrobat/en...g/contact04.pdf http://www.kodak.com/US/plugins/acrobat/en...amerafilm04.pdf

If you're curious about Eyemo loading go to the Revolution Eyemo page, and click on the Eyemo Sync video (2nd video link). It show loading the Eyemo. Yes, there are daylight 35mm spools. Eugene Lehnert
Thanks for posting this. I was looking at the Arri IIB on the Visual Products website and I really like the camera. Can you keep the shutter open for long night exposures?
