rob spence
Does anyone know what the best picture profile is for the F3...to mimic a film look? I have slog 422 in-camera....can the sharpening be turned off slog...or is it already turned off? Any advice gratefully recieved.
Premium Member Mark Kenfield Posted January 15, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted January 15, 2016 The SLOG picture profile is the first place to start. You'll also want to turn off any 'detail' or 'sharpening' details. From memory, I went through the picture profile settings and basically turned off everything that could be turned off - that certainly helped yield better images from the camera. I'd also highly recommend looking in the Impulz LUT collection. They have a broad range of film stock emulations that are calculated specifically for the SLOG/SGamut combination that the F3 offers, and do a really nice job of bringing those colours into a nice starting point. rob spence
Thanks Mark, just looked up their site http://www.colorgradingcentral.com/impulz/ Can you remember what you turned off exactly? Or just everything that it was possible to?
