Lasse Ibsen Thun
I am looking for the possibility to mount my Arriflex 35 II on a tripod, and would like to buy a tripod adaptor. I've added a photo of the item I am looking for. I know there's several versions, which one is not important to me. Must be able to ship to Oslo, Norway. Thank you. Best regards Lasse

So high-hat is the proper name. No wonder I never found anything. I bought the one on ebay, he accepted my offer on $200 :) Thanks for the help. Finally, I can mount my Arriflex on a tripod. Gregg MacPherson
A common solution was to use a thing called a "flat base" that shifted the motor so you could mount to a normal tripod and weren't sitting high above the tilt axis. If you google "arri 2c flat base" images you'll see some variants of that. The one I remember looks like the pic on Dom's Cinetinker site..
