I was watching The original Italian Job last night on video...fantastic film.

But what struck me was how vivid the cinematography is, does anyone know what lenses and film was used on the production.

Many thanks

you can find some infos at IMDB:

WRONG. That's the 2003 version.

Try:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064505/technical

And as it's a 1969 production, it's a fairly safe bet that the negative stock was Eastman 5254, which replaced 5251 in 1967.

'54, at 100 ASA was a stop faster than the earlier '51. Lovely tones, particularly the flesh-to-neutral balance.
