Kyle Geerkens Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 So here's my dilemma... I'm looking to buy a camera. I've shot with a vast variety of equipment, but have not yet used the SOny Fx1 or z1. I always rent or borrow. So In this purchase, I'm trying to figure out if it's worth my money to get this cam now. or are there enough bugs that I would be kikcing myself in a year when something stellar comes out. I also would like to buy the pan. dvx100 as I have used it before and loved it. However, I'm starting to feel like SD is over. I can't justify buying one no matter how much i love it. should I wait or should i go for it? Is SD as dead as I feel?

I always rent or borrow. ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why not "rent or borrow" a Z1 and FX1 and DVX100a and XL2, test them out, and then make a decision whether or not to buy one? All the best, - Peter DeCrescenzo
