Montell Taraschewski Posted February 28, 2021 Posted February 28, 2021 Greetings everyone, Hope you’re are all doing well! Im currently looking for an externally mounted device, which would enable us to set a custom anamorphic desquezze as well as a 90 degree image flip. Ideally the device uses either a HD-SDI or HDMI signal and is customizable through a pc connection. I only require it for monitoring. Also It should be reliable enough to allow our drone OP to frame the shots without any signal processing issues nor long delay. Looking forward to your ideas ? Thanks in advance and stay healthy! -Montell
Premium Member Dan Finlayson Posted March 2, 2021 Premium Member Posted March 2, 2021 I take it you're interested in a monitor that does these functions? As opposed to a stand-alone box? I'm interested in any solutions people recommend for this too

Montell Taraschewski Posted March 26, 2021 Author Posted March 26, 2021 In case anyone ever has a similar problem and searches for an easy fix. Here’s the solution: AJA Region Of Interest SDI Converter https://www.aja.com/products/roi
Neil Cain Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 Hey Montell - this looks like exactly what I'm looking for. I need to perform a 1.75x anamorphic de-squeeze - from glancing at the manual it looks possible, how have you found it? Works well? 1
Alexander Püringer Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) Just fell over this thread, I'm looking for the exact same thing. Did anyone try the AJA converter successfully? Thanks a lot! A Edited January 18 by Alexander Püringer
