Arri 2.39:1 SR3 and SR2 fiber screens for sale

I had a small run of SR3 and SR2 fiber screens done up at Shruco as 2.39:1 with 1.66:1 full aperture safe hooks that I've listed for sale. The SR3 ones are SR3 cores, the SR2 are SR2 cores (slightly dimmer). Open to reasonable offers. I also have two SR3 1.33:1 super16 screens (though markings are for N16) for sale for anyone looking to do their own custom fiber screens

SR2: https://www.ebay.com/itm/274867453800

SR3: 1.33 with hooks https://www.ebay.com/itm/274872117001

Hey Robin,

I am aware I’m sending you this years after you posted on the forum, but would you still have an SR2 screen?
Also, would you happen to know if the SR3 ground glass is compatible with SR2s?

Many thanks,

Val

hi. I sold the rest of these at least a year ago. the SR2 screens will work in the SR3 and vice versa. its the same holder, I think the pitch of the fibers just got a little tighter with the SR3/416 variant.

I think someone had a slightly different one available on the facebook Arriflex Anonymous page a bit ago. Otherwise I believe Paul of Shruco Tool is still re-marking fiber screens if you find a 4:3 one you are willing to sacrafice. Andree of AMcamera.com can put you in contact with him.

Hey Robin!

Thanks for getting back after all this time. I have also read that the SR2 and SR3 are cross compatible as well, but might not allow frame glow if the original SR2 ground glass is used on an SR3 or 416.
Thanks for the references and names - it will come in handy for custom frame guides.

Cheers,

Val
