Iolo Edwards
Hi, I've recently noticed a small blemish in the top left corner of the image when I use my Angenieux zoom lens (filming with my Arriflex 16mm camera). The blemish does not appear on the other lenses and has only very recently (on my last shoot in January) become apparent. Anybody know what it could be? Premium Member Dom Jaeger Posted February 21, 2022 Premium Member Share Posted February 21, 2022 Can you see it in the viewfinder? If not, it’s not the lens and is probably something caught in the gate area. A blemish in the image tends to need a noticeable obstruction within a lens, something you’d easily see by holding it up to a light and looking through. It’s much more likely to be something small closer to the film plane.
