Alain LeTourneau
Does anyone have the original manual (Aaton or Abel Cine variety) for the XTR which you no longer need and would considering selling? I'm talking pre-XTRplus. If you have an original and are willing to make high quality copies I'm willing to compensate you and pay postage. Alain LeTourneau
All I've found on-line is the Sept 1996 and Sept 2002 printings for the XTRprod. Abel Cine sells the XTRplus manual, however I'm in need of the original XTR manual. Would have been printed between 1986 and the early 1990s. Anyone have this??? They are very similar to the LTR manual from the Aaton web http://www.aaton.com/products/film/xtr/ltr.php
Alain LeTourneau
I have 2 XTR manuals: Febrary 84/85, in english and french. They are very similar to the LTR manual from the Aaton web http://www.aaton.com/products/film/xtr/ltr.php Thanks, but I have the LTR manuals. They're widely available on the net. What I'm looking for is something from 1984 (the year the XTR was released) to just before January of 1995 when Abel Cine published their XTRplus manual. Basically something published 1984 and early 1990s. There has to be something that's specific to the XTR (pre-XTRplus) since Aaton publishes a manual every 5-8 years which would put one in the timeframe I've specified above. Alain LeTourneau BTW, I should note that I have the following manuals: LTR September 1979 (photocopy, received from technician) LTR April 1984 (photocopy; available on-line) XTRplus January 1995 (Able Cine original publication) XTRprod September 1996 (available on-line) XTRprod September 2002 (currently available on Aaton's site) --Alain LeTourneau

Sure they can provide one for you. If not, write to me directly, I can copy the english XTR manual (febrary 85) Lluís
Alain LeTourneau
Aaton has a February 1985 version of the XTR manual on their website, but the final pages 29-36, which includeds exploded views of the camera, is not part of the PDF download. Does anyone have this '85 version of the manual (as original) that they would sell or make high quality scans or photocopies in exchange for a small fee and covering postage (if not a scan)??? Appreciate any assistance, Alain
