Unidentified viewfinder extension and Eclair CM3 stuff

Hi everybody,

Since few months, I'm currently working on my rental company for film equipment.

I got some cameras and accessories for free by a guy who I work with, he had a production company few decades ago and a lot of his stuff was left unused.

I found this viewfinder inside the case of the Arri IIC, but I don't think it belongs to it at all.

He also had a Cameflex CM3 which the viewfinder doesn't belong to neither.

Can someone here help me to identify for what camera this viewfinder is for ? Also if I don't need it I might sell it, what would be the value of this item ?

Don't think Picture 1 - 4 are for the Cameflex. It looks a bit like the parts to a collimator (incomplete).

5 and 6 are the case for the 16mm gate.

7 is a lens cap from a Kinoptik

8 No idea

I asked an optical technician and he also said it might be from a collimator, I also have what seem to be called a "bore sight" where the viewfinder can attach, it's a plate with a kind of a ground glass with cross marking. I will post pictures soon.

What can be the value of the collimator parts ?

I just found the other part of the collimator, It is made for the Eclair CM3 !

There is corrosion on the metal spring holder but optics are ok.

Don't think it's a collimator. It looks more like a bore sight for an Eclair Camematic high speed camera. Probably worth £100.
