I have a Cameflex CM3 16/35 and a Konvas. The motor mount are very different and it suppose to modify the Konvas motor for running on reverse mode. H.MATHIEU

I have also bought an used Konvas from rafcamera and haven't had any problems.I have paid with wire transfer and EMS choice for expedition to Belgium.It is a good experiance.

Now my 15epss work very fine at all speed with 60m and 120m mag loaded with film. But i have others questions. 1/Failure in T11 (power transistor) of failure in D8 D9 (voltage réference) are serviciable today in Ukraine? Perhaps the best to do is to buy a second controller in case of controller failure? 2/Is your update to 12v battery expensive? thanks H.MATHIEU

I have tested my 15epss motor with 6V 7ah lead batterry and with 4X Hawker Cyclon 2V 5ah in serie total 8V 5ah. It work fine at 24 f/s. But for the first time , I have bad contact in R1 relay (P1 on the shematic) , after un small intervention it work . Is the R1 relay existing as part? Thanks H.MATHIEU

Ps Old bolex non reflex are very cheap and use not switar RX but all common and cheap C lens mount.For electric motor see the tobin site.

with non reflex bolex you need the side viewfinder. two knob : one for distance one for focal lens. the camera have a tri lens turret. up tele center normal 25mm down wide. the critical focussing viewfinfer is up. for tele , after focusing you must rotate the turret with the tele lens on the normal center position ,set the side viewfinder with the good distance (parallaxe) and focal, and use it for critcal composition, and after run for the other ,it is the same,rotate to critical focussing the lens in use,et after come back to the taking place (camera window). the upper viewfinder is only for critical focusing. see a link with descrption of old bolex. http://www.city-net.com/~fodder/bolex/history/

a rack-over system exist , but not easy to find. a thru the lens system exist, to set in the film gate without presor and film , but not easy to find too. and you need a very good tripod for using this two item. but the side vieuwfinder have a good correction of parralaxe. H.MATHIEU

hi For the 1 M turret version and the current "1500 mètres" lube , must the turret be unscrew with the screw in the center of the turret. I have a picture of the oiling point with a 2M. What is the" how to" for 1M.

The shutter of the cameflex is locked with a screw. The screw is very differant of the six others on the shutter. It is necessary of tighten down partially this screw before use of the "obturateur" knob. See the two manuals, the french (this is not a original) and the english translation for the "how to " I have the cameflex 16/35.

You have said in a post that 15EPSS motor can run at 24i/s with a 6v battery of 4A or 10 A in place of the rare 8V. If i understand well it is better in this option to run with the small charger of 200 feet on 24 black in place of the 400 feet on red 24. Thanks H.MATHIEU
