any ideas? guys?

Hey Guys, I am doing a video research for a project, that involves some nice and interesting transitions or transformations, i.e. woman changes into certain objects like TV, bag, sneakers and man, etc, etc. my idea is that the transitions happens very quickly, almost like a mouse click thing. I understand that wont give enough screen time for the transition happening, so must be quick, and yet Fun. this is a video of Black Eyed Peas - Time which features mosaic effects, cool and new. that we really like and trying to dig harder with more options. can anyone help me providing some leads and info?? Huge thanks!!

offline we use Avid, output EDL the post house uses RocketCine-X

dear all, we were shooting 4k, 3k and 2k footage of commercial. client has approved offline cuts, so EDL is ready. we are seeking to conform raw footage into DPX for online process. the question now is mu post house (they are using ROCKETCINE X) told me they are working on the EDL, and they have to conform all takes from the EDL, instead of locates the exact time code range from the EDL; it generates huge amount of DPX data (over 800Gb) then, they need to import to online (Flame) with the EDL time code to narrow down the exact cuts of the commercial I actually need. is it the truth or real deal for me?? I have been charged by time, and it will cost me a lot?? maybe I should get another post house??? please advice. Thanks!!!
