Hello everyone. Came across this forum website and loved all the threads and information on it. I am 17 and from the UK. I am an aspiring cinematographer, like many people on this site. But this really is my passion and love nothing better but to film. Im lucky to have a reasonably good quality camera, a Sony VX2100E. I would LOVE a HD camera but ohwell, maybe in the future. Wasn't sure where to put this topic on the site because im asking for a couple of things, so i apologize in advance. Firstly, im currently in college but would i need to go university for the career i want to pursue, or should i go straight into trying to get experience. Secondly, does anyone, in the UK, know where i can get experience, in a work placement. What is the best way to get into the industry? And finally, here are some of my films. I love doing sport shots, especially biking.
