  1. Hey all.. didn't know if this should go here or in the film stock forum so I apologize if it's in the innaproriate forum anybody use pro8mm's Super 8-63? here's the reel from their site: http://www.pro8mm.com/demo/super863.php Just wondering if a camera like a Sankyo EM40xl that does well with Tri-X would expose this 10asa film properly. Do I need to meter differently or manually stop down? also curious if anyone has sample footage uploaded.. churrs -L
  2. poking around on the forum a little more I think I found the answer.. The pinout on that remote is: sleeve = common ring = focus tip = shutter so it's a simple switch trigger... no external voltage nec.. cool cool.
  3. clarification needed there.. I'd like to use that little intervalometer with some of the other Sankyo's I've got kickin around.. ES-44XL and XL-420 which don't have built-in intervalometers, but have remote jacks.
  4. I've got a whole schwack of Sankyos, the em-40xl has been getting a lot of use lately.. I was curious about the remote jack on this thing. I recently built one of these for use with a modular synth: http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store...ER-KIT/-/1.html but it dawned on me that the pulse output could probably also trigger the sankyo. anybody know anything about the REM jack on some of these Sankyo models?
