    k 35 lenses

Hi Chuck, the coatings on the K35s are yellow...but thats not the same as the glass being discoloured yellow. My 85mm example is perfectly clear when you look through it, and has yellow coatings. Does anyone know if it is only the 35mm and 50mm lenses that are affected? best rob spence

Hi Stephen, they were very yellow...rather like looking through a coral filter. I love k35 and would love to buy some ... but surely they must colour the image when they are this yellow? best rob spence

    k 35 lenses

Hi If anyone is buying any K35 lenses on ebay or wherever please make sure that they haven't got yellowed ( and therefore unusable ) glass. I bought some recently which were yellowed and managed to return them and get the money back, but they may be out there for sale again...so please beware cheers rob spence

  12. When it comes to 12VDC lights, non focusable lights, unless they have a built in throw, are somewhat worthless if one is trying to mix them into a daylight setting, unless it's just being used for E.N.G. stand up interviews. The reason being is to get a powerful enough light will use a lot of battery power whereas a focused light can light up sections of the scene from a distance, allowing one to actually selectively light specfic portions of a day time set. are focussable 12 volt units available?
  13. Hi I'm sure this has been asked many times, but my searches haven't come up with much thanks rob
  14. Hi, Is there any 12 volt lighting systems available. We're shooting in the middle of no where, with no electricity and no genny it is a very sunny location. We need light for interiors and fill for outdoors. many thanks rob spence

  22. HI stephen, I emailed the DOP shop and here's the reply. Hi Rob, It's a reflex camera, it fits all new lenses, won't fit wider older lenses - ie. Cooke SP's wider than 40mm and some wider Zeiss lenses. It's easy to check a lens, you just pull the mount, slip it over the lens and check for protrusion. There is a way to modify by cutting the mirror to allow all lenses to mount but I don't have that ability yet (working on it). It's a nice bright/clear viewfinder in the older Pen-F's and the camera is very small. Thanks, anders I'ts an nteresting camera but not totally flexible...yet, many thanks rob spence
  23. thanks luke. I just had a chat with Les Bosher about that camera and he feels that it would only be useful for lenses over about 100mm due to reflex mirror clearence. I'm surprised that no one has made a ground up designed pl mount camera. Many thanks rob spence
  24. Hi Does anyone know if a pl mount stills camera exists...for testing lenses and stock? many thanks rob spence
