  1. I really liked the part after 2:35, especially the combination of the score and the images. Very cool. What slightly bothered me though, was the grading in 3:19, it just feels "off", especially the reds and yellows on the left side of the screen.
  2. I did something similar to this a while ago. We used three (three windows) 1,2kW Arri HMIs with 1/2 Stop Frost on 48" Frames as main, and then two 575W for a bit of fill. If you want, I can send you a picture, unfortunately, I can't post the results yet. We were shooting in Berlin, so I knew that the weather was incredibly unpredictable and we needed a constant and reliable light source, so daylight was very much out of the question. I assume Stockholm, if that's where you're shooting, might face the same problem.
  3. I haven't used these, but they might be worth a look: http://www.attitudelighting.com/equipment/lightning-strikes-250k-linear/ Also, if you have a speedlight or something like that lying around, try using it at maximum power, that makes the flash duration longer, in combination with a longer exposure, which could help.
  4. This is the setup Terry Richardson uses a lot. It's just a small flash right next to the lens, so I think a Dedo light might be worth a look.
  5. Oh, hey Ed. That's a surprise! Also, great Tutorial @Matt!
  6. I would definitely look into smaller HMIs. A few weeks ago I lit a small scale commercial with 3 1,2kW Arri HMIs from outside, and used to 575W for fill. Especially when you are not fighting the sun, it should give you enough light to work with. If I remember correctly, we ended up with T2,8 @ ISO100 after shooting them through one stop silks..
