  1. Letting go of my 16 Super Speed Mark III lenses (9.5mm, 16mm and 25mm) since I no longer had a 16mm camera. These lenses were purchased from Visual Products two years ago and have been babied the entire time. They have only been shot with a few times and have been sitting in a camera bag since I bought them. Really nice condition. Glass is immaculate. I can email high res photos if you want to see them. 9.5mmGlass - Front element is clear. Back element is clear. 7. Looking to sell my tv logic F-7h MK2 monitor. It’s in almost new condition. Used on a few jobs and has. A few cosmetic marks from being on camera but the screen is flawless. Located in NYC.
  8. I have been looking at the 13x viewfinder. Expectations are just that the lenses resolve and footage is reasonably sharp. I plan on shooting a bunch of tests soon. Would love to see any tests you end up shooting!
  9. Curious of anyone’s experience using a S16 Bolex SBM with Zeiss s16 super speed mark III lenses. I already own the 9.5mm, 16mm and 25mm lenses and I am curious if they will perform on a Bolex. I head there can be prism issues, but I am just curious if anyone has any personal experiences. Thanks.

  12. Hey Everyone, I have been really digging in and attempting to perfect an on set viewing LUT. I know there are many theories behind this, and that most just view the standard arri rec.709 LUT on set. I have found this LUT to be somewhat limiting and am looking for something different. I have read that many people consider the standard Alexa LUT too flat, which can lead to improper lighting when judging ratios and gradient via an on set monitor. Thus many people prefer a higher contrast lut for their base LUT. My question is: does this all refer to the rec.709 LUT with the Alexa ? If you do use a higher contrast LUT on set how did you go about making this LUT? How much contrast did you add? Did you crush the blacks and maintain the highlights or apply a general s curve to increase contrast? Obviously working with a color scientist would be ideal in creating this, but I am hoping to expand my knowledge personally this this area and any guidance would be helpful. Thanks.
