Carl did you get anywhere with building a custom motor?

Hey everyone, I'm about to take the plunge as I have a boxload of Super 8 to transfer. I have a Raspberry Pi with its camera, a stepper motor and a donor Elmo GP-E projector. I'll try and keep you all updated with the progress.

Phil, what would you be willing to let this go for? I'm in Worthing and can drive up any day this week to collect. I'm after a xenon as I'm holding an outdoor film show camping weekend for Parkinsons.
