  1. Seeing the eyes of the actors helps the viewer trust the characters....but in this film you could not quite trust the adults...while the kids were lite with more of a child like perspective....

  3. In a rural town in southern Idaho a Japanese-American family owns and operates a small motel. The year is 1965, the height of the Civil Rights Era. One night a stranger sporting ‘city’ clothes checks in, the first African-American man that Toru Suzuki’s children have ever seen. Yoshiko, Toru’s precocious 13 year old daughter, takes it upon herself to solve the mystery of this man, especially after two detectives come knocking on their door in the middle of the night.

  8. Yes, its still a good indication for judging your lighting....because if you break down the 4:4:4 signal....its a representation of RGB or actually Luminace/G - R - B signal....so when you are looking at the HD/SDI big 24" monitor the only thing that you are loosing is 0 - 2 - 2 or some color pixles of the red and blue, considering the fact that the human eye can judge shifts in contrast better/quicker than that of saturation.....you will be fine...
  9. thats true...its just a little bit more expensive than a milli XL package.... q
  10. the battery has 12/24V....the camera and VTR only needs 12V....and the 24V is for the pany AKS and thats it... q
  11. A way to get the blueiest blue out of the camera...if the camera is set to 3200 degrees tug setting....do a white balance as normal....and turn the LB knob to 5600 degrees and that should be the cheapest way to get the blue without a 80A filter...
  12. actually, I was able to attend a screening of birth and afterwards q/a with Harris and that question came up....and yes he did under expose negative 4 stops.....he and his assistant coined the phrase...the toe nail of the curve was used.....i was surprised....Harris said he wanted to push the envelop a bit..... quenell jones camera assistant
