  1. Im not seeing much on google about these, but they are hard to search - is this what you mean? http://makingnottaking.blogspot.com/2010/10/craigslist-mystery-lens-century-tele.html Dom - Also, I added a pic of a notch the adapter has on the thread side. Thanks for the replies btw, Im lost on this one
  2. Im not entirely sure how to be certain, but it fits the description listed here: https://www.handheldfilms.com/cameras-lenses/lenses/angenieux-25-250mm-mki/ And here is a picture of my copy, and another of what happens when I try to connect it to the rear adapter: https://imgur.com/a/Pgi0HQk As you can see, it butts up against the lens and doesnt even come close to threading.
  3. As the title says, I have this arri standard mount rear anamorphic that I originally thought was the Universal Angenieux/Cooke mount. However, after spending a bunch on a Angenieux 25-250, I realized that it does not fit that kind of screw on mount - there isnt enough receiver space for the thread to catch, if that makes sense. The side that connects to the lens has two threads, which using calipers, measure roughly at 46/47mm for smaller threads and 57mm for outside threads. If anyone knows what this might be, Id be greatly in your debt. I have been trying to figure this out for a year now lol. Please help! Also I can provide answers to any spatial dimensions of the lens.. Here are pictures: https://imgur.com/a/n5qysaX thanks
  4. Looking for a decent copy of an Angenieux 35-140 f3.5, the kind with the removable mount/universal sub-mount similar to the cooke 25-250, angenieux 25-250, etc. Thanks!
  5. do you happen to know what thread size it is? The universal mount Im talking about is a threaded sub-mount that can be used for PL, B, STD mounts
  6. Interested in this possibly, if it is the universal mount type.
  7. Im about to attempt this myself. Curious how your go with it turned out, and if you might have any tips for a newb?
  8. Thanks Dom! I thought I tried that way, but I guess I didnt hard enough.
  9. Hi everyone, Long time reader, first time poster. I recently picked up an arriflex 16bl, and I cannot find a way to open up the camera door. Ive scoured the internet for videos/instructions, and the best I could find was that the silver "A-Z" knob in the picture has to be turned to the right. Is this all that needs to happen? Because I am trying to turn it as hard as I can and it wont budge. Is there a release or something somewhere? Also, Ive never tried to post and cant figure out how to embed this photo lol..... https://imgur.com/gallery/HuBdPDS Furthermore, if anyone has anything they believe I should check before the Ebay return period expires, please lmk! The movement/motor do seem to work, but i have yet to put any film through it. Thanks so much. Jesse
