J. Lamar King IMPOSTOR
what should i be looking for as far as cinematic technique in this film.i have never seen it and just rented it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't mean to sound facetious but, everything. It switches between a feature film style and semi-documentary seamlessly, that's impressive. The climactic scene when Schindler breaks down after the war has ended is an amzing piece of acting by Liam Neeson. Ben Kingsley's performance is topped only by his work in Ghandi. Jason Maeda
check the forum archives: go back to the list of all forums and then scroll down 2/3's the page. a;so, go to imdb.com and figure out the year it was released, then check the archives for that year and the next couple years after (dvd release) for help. thet way, the brains like david and mitch and phil and john etc. (sorry if i left out some major candidates) will save their expertise for topics that people haven't already discussed, and the rest of us can try out our new skills and tips with fresh situations... just my opinion, jk
Premium Member Wendell_Greene Posted September 30, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted September 30, 2004 You may also want to read the chapter in "Cinematography:Screencraft" that focuses on Kaminski. There's a page that lists Janusz handwritten notes from a few of his filters tests.
