"Not by the decree of any State or Government.. but by the collective consciousness of a people who ..blah blah blah... or the part about this being one of the things that goes with Freedom that I gladly accept... or that I'd take that over any forced (Sharia for example) Law... you missed quite a bit there kiddo. :blink: I actually didn't "miss" it, I just happen to know for a FACT that when people shout loud enough about some perceived moral indignity, start defending the family and the American way with their righteous moral outrage, it becomes very easy for freedom to be crushed under the weight of all that "morality and righteousness," just look at what the Spanish did with Inquisition and the enslavement on South and Central America in an attempt to "save their souls". More evil have been perpetrated in the name of morality than for any other reason on Earth. Oh and Dave, what exactly would you like me to apologize for? For being right or for being blunt? When you throw down a gauntlet, don't be surprised if someone picks it up. I am sorry if you feel offended by my taking exception to your point of view, but when it comes to personal freedom, I give no quarter and will defend it at every opportunity and THAT my friend is something I will never apologize for. Conservatives are often fighting for a free market(place) more often than the Liberals. Remember it was the Liberals who want the Govn't to secure and create equal Conservative and Liberal Radio because Air America was/is an utter failure? Isn't activity like that what bothers you??? Your statement is as ludicrous as stating that Liberals would mandate that ALL have to watch porn. Ridiculous!
