NYC Rental Houses to Visit

Does anyone know of a good camera rental house in NYC that would allow me to visit and take a look at a camera system?

I was recently booked on a show using the HDX900 and I've been reading through the manual, but I wanted to get my hands on one before the gig starts.

I called 5 or so houses that have them but all of them said that they don't do anything like that, any suggestions?

Did you try tamberelli? http://www2.tamberelli.com/ I know its not in NYC, but Boston Camera might let you come in and do a fake prep with the camera.

I would go to B&H on 36th st and mess with the camera. Or go to hand held films @ 66 white st. They will treat you well.

yeah thought so if you didn't already call the guys at abel cinetech - they are great and treat you well
