They appear quite unashamedly in frame during the sequences outside "Cyberdyne Systems" and I think there's something similar used in the opening scenes at the asylum. Clearly something cool, and very directed; is this almost beam-projector levels of directionality? There's also a lot of blue light just for general illumination, which is presumably something else.
