Marcus Joseph
You've accomplished more that I did at 24... Makes me wonder if starting young even makes that much of a difference, I'm a little disappointed he didn't end up the head of Paramount cause it sounded like Landon took the advice many big time filmmakers give, even if it was over the top. Pick up a camera. Shoot something. No matter how small, no matter how cheesy, no matter whether your friends and your sister star in it. Put your name on it as director. Now you're a director. Everything after that you're just negotiating your budget and your fee. - James Cameron I supposed only one in a million end up in that James Cameron boat anyway... Guest
Josh Trank just set a new industry record, youngest person ever to make a movie that opened at number one at the box office. Chronicle opened at number 1 and Josh is 27. That beat the previous record holder, Steven Spielberg, 28, with JAWS. I'm surprised the industry news did not report more on this story. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2503633/ R,

So when he started directing that TV show he would have been around 22? That's pretty young to start refining the craft on a major project.
